contraindications and precautions
  • Never use the chamber while suffering from a head cold or flu symptoms, upper respiratory infections or sinus infections.
  • Never use the chamber if any alcohol has been consumed.
  • Never use the chamber if ear canals are blocked or if you have a perforated eardrum or any condition that would prevent the occupant's ability to equilibrate the pressure across the tympanic membrane.
  • The mild hyperbaric chamber is not recommended for pregnant women as there has not yet been enough research into this matter.

With the increased oxygen uptake an individual with a high level of toxins in their body may perspire profusely and cause the chamber view window to fog up. This is an uncommon occurrence. The chamber can be depressurized and the person removed.
